AtVenture exists to close the gender funding and wealth gaps by unlocking angel investing as a tool for systemic change. We activate more women, underrepresented individuals, and allies to become confident, connected angel investors — while increasing capital flowing to diverse founders building tomorrow’s most promising companies.
Why we exist
Today, only around 10% of angel investors are women, and less than 2% of venture funding goes to women-led startups. That’s not just an imbalance — it’s an inefficiency that holds back innovation, growth, and opportunity.

Co-Founder, Angel Investor & Fractional CFO
Laurie brings deep experience in entrepreneurship, fundraising and finance.
Through her previous work at corporates such as HEINEKEN, being a VC-backed founder and fundraising advisor, she connects funders and founders with a focus on inclusive innovation and scalable systems.​
Tessa de Flines
Co-Founder, Angel Investor & Fractional COO
Tessa is a strategic operator who helps startups grow through structure, clarity and execution.
With a background at ABN AMRO, GE, and as investment partner at Great Stuff Ventures, she brings operational depth, angel investing experience and a passion for building ecosystems that work for everyone.
